About
How to improve your art
I will be making a video on how learning proper composition techniques will instantly improve your art.
Understanding the rule of thirds and other common forms of composition will ensure your artistic eye is more trained and capturing and creating beautiful things.

What I do
I am an artist and an Environmental science major.
I am constantly trying to bridge the gap between science and art. My job aspirations are to be a researcher and wildlife conservationist. I believe I can use my skills as an artist and scientist to accomplish this.
Explore my range of artistic abilities to see if any form of expression inspires you to make art of your own.
Hopefully you are moved or see the importance of the subjects and topics I have chosen due to my artistic expression.
Markers, Crayon, and Chalk
"Kids" mediums used by masters
There are many artistic tools that do not get the respect they deserve. Things such as crayons, markers, pastels, and chalk. All of these mediums require a great deal of skill and creativity to turn into beautiful works of are but they are no less capable of creating it simply because we are introduced to these mediums at a young age.

Pencil
A simple but mighty tool
Pencils are a medium that everyone has access to. It is also the only utensil needed to create beautiful art. Artistic skill takes time to improve, but a persons willingness and dedication are the only things holding them back from making art. Artist have been us graphite and charcoal for thousands of years to make everything from rudimentary drawings, great masterpieces, to architectural schematics for buildings that still stand today. Don't let people tell you you need expensive supplies to make art. You don't need to prepare to make art....just start.

Photography
Modern Expression
In the modern world most everyone has access to a good quality camera right in their pocket. Some say cameras being more accessible means photographers skills or work are less valuable because "anyone can click a bottom". This a sentiment I couldn't disagree more with. The art of photography is so much more than simply mindlessly clicking a shutter at a subject. It takes years of practice and study to make improved quality art, just like other mediums.
